In 1997, I had to buy a gift for my friend who just had a baby girl and I was at a loss as to what to get! At the time, I had no experience with babies or kids so I had to resort to the one thing I do know – clothes. I walked into a number of kids clothing stores and found myself underwhelmed by the choices of frilly and floral dresses in pink with round collars and puffed sleeves. After a while, I found a really cute stylish dress, size 3-6mos from Guess kids.
Ten years later, I found myself shopping for my own baby girl. So far, it’s been a pleasant surprise to see a number of designer brands offering a kids counterpart of their fashion offerings, from Old Navy to Prada. With the recent baby boom in Hollywood, there’s more sartorial inspiration for tots. This blog is dedicated to all the stylish tots out there.
